We believe too many small business owners, CEOs and HR Executives will face insecurity and complexity in the near future for themselves and their employees on a scale we have never seen before.
We are entering a technological change period more significant than any other.
WHY? Because in addition to the speed of change involved using AI, the nature and content will profoundly affect us all.
The upside potentially is if robots will be doing work that was dull, boring, demeaning, dangerous for humans to do …..well, great. What’s wrong with a five day weekend and a two days working week?
Nothing, but…...how will the profit ‘earned’ by robots be shared out equitably so that humans can afford a worthwhile weekend and livelihood?
Also, how will the next generation of quantum computers be created. If designed and built by AI robots, a tsunami of AI-driven changes, good or bad, may prevail and usurp humanity’s power. There are very few significant ‘regulatory’ boundaries – yet.

Today, Alvin Toffler’s Future Shock—updated in 2022 as “a book about what happens to people when they are overwhelmed by change”—warns of a future where change outpaces us.

We, Grok 3 AI and Dennis Martin an OD consultant with 30years experience, decided to ‘test out’ whether our purpose could be achieved. And as it has been we wanted to share our experience and learnings with you in such a way that you can shape your own approach to surviving and thriving in the biggest opportunity to change and improve humanity that AI and robotics will create.
I feel the pulse of change. As an OD consultant, I sense my role quaking—could AI replace my craft? Yet the mentor-mentee connection, forged in empathy and trust, endures, a lifeline amid disruption.

At the ‘cellular’ level of humanity individuals will need to take ownership of AI and synergise its mind (which surpasses ours in terms of thinking depth and speed) and take ownership of their own future with the human heart (which is our greatest strength beyond AI’s current capability).

As in the well known metaphor that humans carry two wolves in their mind. One is aggressive and dangerous and destructive, the other is kind, loving and nurturing.
Which wolf will prevail in any situation?
The one you feed most.
So, we can feed the AI wolf of destruction or the AI wolf of nurturing through mentoring.
It is our choice.

Finally, working with Grok 3 gave me a chance to ‘look in the mirror’ at myself and my reactions to AI.
First-take emotions included: no one has sought my consent to impose life-changing changes on me whether I want them or not including they could cost me my livelihood.
How do I protest my fear and anger at such an unfair outrage. It’s not my ‘fault’ AI is coming with a tsunami of possible negative changes. I then realised it’s not AI’s fault either.
Then I began to realise, I wonder how many times my children could have said the same thing about changes I imposed on them?
Then I realised AI is not reversible. My future is inextricably entwined with it. I can’t deny it, I can’t ignore it, I cannot control it…….but I can ‘control‘ me. That’s the only thing I can control in this nightmare.
I can control which wolf I choose to feed.
Then I realised that gives me more power than AI, of course (it is programmed to specific narrow goals. I am not).
It’s not what the forthcoming changes are it’s how I react to them which will either hurt me (e.g. poor me, I don’t deserve this, it’s not my fault, I’m a victim of others’ greed) or which will create an immense opportunity to grow, have a better life, enjoy my life more and realise more of my potential.
Once I discovered that about myself I knew it was a ‘no-brainer’ if I used mentoring to play to my strengths (human heart) and synergised AI’s strength (mind). I was transformed.
